Timelines are sometimes useful to those thinking about Peace Corps or Applicants with RAS (Restless Applicant Syndrome).  I think that my wait time is about the average right now, give or take a couple weeks.  Legal Clearance took an especially long time because of previous employers and such.   Hopefully this is helpful to someone.


March 18, 2010- Application Started 
May 18, 2010- Attended Info Session.
June 23, 2010- Completed/Submitted Application
June 24, 2010- Contacted about legal Eligibility Concern 
August 1, 2010- Submitted Preliminary Legal Paperwork 
August 30, 2010- Received Legal Kit 
September 13, 2010- Legal Kit completed & Mailed 
September 23, 2010- Contacted by Recruiter for Interview 
October 21, 2010- Interviewed and Nominated
October 24, 2010- Medical Kit Received
January 10th, 2011- Medical Kit returned
May 13, 2011- Medically Cleared for Service
June 14, 2011- Contacted by PC regarding Budget Cuts, Additional paperwork and Nomination date pushed  back to early 2012
July 18, 2011 - Contacted by Placement Specialist and received unofficial invitation
July 20, 2011- Received Formal Invitation Packet (3rd grade art)
July 22, 2011 - Accepted Invitation Via E-mail
July 25, 2011 - Received Accept Verification From Peace Corps
October 09, 2011 - Staging
